Often times when I am talking with a prospect about a new project, I come across the same questions. I thought I’d share a list of the ones I hear the most. Will you help with content gathering?

No. I can provide guidance and suggestions for content organization, but you, as the expert on your business, are expected to come up with the appropriate materials. It is assumed that when a project gets underway, content is made available when needed, and any delay of content delivery will ultimately delay the launch of the website.

Can I update the website myself?

WordPress, the preferred content management system can be integrated into your website to allow anyone to update portions of your website at any time with minimal technical knowledge, by simply entering information into regular web forms. Basic training is available as part of the SIX15 service offering for those not familiar with the tool.

Who will provide support if my website stops working?

For new website development projects, SIX15 provides 1 month of full technical support for any problems arising from the original code of your website, free of charge. After the 1 month free support period expires, hourly maintenance agreements or monthly retainers handle all website maintenance and enhancements.

SIX15 does offer ongoing maintenance contracts allowing you to outsource all changes. Contact me for more information. Support for your web hosting and domain name will be provided by SIX15, working with MediaTemple (or your preferred web host), and billed accordingly.

Is there any way to see how many people are visiting my site?

Yes, SIX15 provides detailed site reports so you will know how many people are visiting your site. Utilizing Google Analytics gives all the information you’d ever need.
